NORTH AMERICAN PAPYROLOGY SEMINAR I

NORTH AMERICAN PAPYROLOGY SEMINAR I
ANN ARBOR, MI
MAY 15-17, 2015
Sponsored by the American Society of Papyrologists
Sessions
We invite active scholars and students in all fields of papyrology to present works-inprogress to colleagues, learn about large projects in the field, and enjoy a weekend focused on scholarship. All participants must be active (paid) members of the American Society of Papyrologists.
There will be two types of sessions:
1. Presentations on large projects in papyrology that benefit the whole field (digitization
projects, APIS, etc.) (max. 1 hour including questions and discussion)
2. Presentations of individual projects (max. 30 minutes including discussion)
Basic projection equipment will be available for all presentations. Members of the Society
may also attend without presenting, and should still fill out the form below.
Accommodations
All participants will arrange their own accommodations. A list of Ann Arbor hotels will be
provided well in advance of the seminar. Ann Arbor is served by Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and shuttles run regularly between the airport and Ann Arbor.

University of Michigan Papyrology Collection
Please note that the University of Michigan papyrus collection, and the papyrology room, will not be available during the seminar. Those who wish to use the collection during their stay in Ann Arbor should arrange to do so before or after the weekend seminar.
